Nevada Hart Guitar

Nevada Hart is an accomplished musician with over 25 years of experience in Audio Recording, Sound Engineering and Music Writing. He plays lead and rhythm guitar, pedal steel, lap steel, bass, banjo, dobro, and mandolin.

Nevada was born in Logan, Ohio and has been playing music since the age of nine. He grew up with the influences of rock, bluegrass, jazz, and country music. Nevada toured the world as a performing artist working with a number of talented musicians. He performed and recorded in Nashville with Southern Exposure and Johnny Paycheck.

Nevada developed a number of aspiring young musicians to help them further their careers. He operated recording studios in Huntington, West Virginia, Ironton, Ohio, and for the last ten years has been operating in the historic Boneyfiddle district of Portsmouth, Ohio. He continues to teach, write, and co-write music for regional artists and events.

Nevada studied Electronics Engineering at Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio. He served in the United States Marine Corps and toured the Asian Pacific as a Corporal, Recon Marine. While in the Marine Corps, he frequently played music for the Officer Clubs and played in bands with fellow Marines in a variety of international locations, as well as the Marine Corps Jazz Band in Hawaii. Nevada has been teaching guitar for over 25 years and on occasion, helps his fellow musicians by setting up and repairing their instruments and equipment.

NEVADA HART ON THE TRACKS is the first CD produced to showcase Nevada’s music. It is a compilation of instrumental recordings created, produced and performed by Nevada. Created over a ten-year period, this album reflects the beauty of Appalachia as one would travel along the rural roads that parallel the railroad tracks. While considered New Age Music (instrumental pieces creating sounds of soothing, mood-elevating, sensual in nature for relaxation and to open your spiritual senses) it has a strong Appalachian influence.
